Our VISION is a world in which everyone person achieves the purpose their life – to meet God while alive – through the teachings of Sri Guru Granth Sahib.
Our MISSION is to disseminate the universal message of Sri Guru Granth Sahib to the whole world and contribute to the spiritual advancement of humanity.
Your Dasvandh will allow us to:
- Help individuals, families and communities unlock their true potential as we build solid practical foundations through Simran based on the teachings of Sri Guru Granth Sahib.
- Conduct dozens of samagams across North America annually while providing accommodations, food and lodging.
- Develop and freely distribute educational literature, online resources and television programming on the Sikh faith to both Sikhs and the interfaith community.
- Provide travel expenses to seekers wishing to attend a camp, but are unable to do so due to financial hardship
Our Future Projects Include:
- Organized more than a dozen Simran camps across North America at a cost of $8,000.
- Printed and freely distributed 30,000 booklets across North America at a cost of $7,000. The book titled, “The Purpose of Your Life is to Meet God” can be downloaded at mysimran.info/materials.
- Supported several sangat members travel expenses to attend Simran camps at a cost of $2,000.
- Organized and volunteered at various interfaith events and lectures at colleges to educate the non-Sikhs on our faith.
- Conducting an analysis of Sikh prisoners in the US to make arrangements to provide them with Gurbani literature.
