Context

Being a Mental Health Counselor and having a passion for instilling positive values in our Sikh youth, I wanted to create a book where all Sikhs are represented- from different skin tones to the way some Sikh children look so they can easily identify themselves and relate. Not only does this book strengthen and empower the youth, it also teaches them about historical Sikh people that embody this affirmation and are often not mentioned in Sikh history. This book is filled with surprises including a current historical event that is happening in India right now. This book also has a Mental Health resource page on how to view themselves positively.

I Am is a 7x7 colored board book that introduces Sikh children to positive affirmations which leads to positive thinking & self-empowerment.

What is the current status of the book?

3,000 copies have been printed and currently in route to Brave Lion to distribute and sell by the end of October 2021.

Where can I get a copy of the book?
I Am can be brought on the Brave Lion Books Website. All proceeds made on the website, go directly towards future pubications.
