Our Team

Inderpal Singh
President

Inderpal Singh is Founder and Managing Director of Northshore Partners, a boutique management and technology consulting firm. Previously he worked with the Executive team at the world’s largest hedge fund, Bridgewater Associates. He has also served as a Senior Vice President at HSBC North America and as a Consultant with McKinsey & Company in the financial services and insurance sectors. He started his professional career at Microsoft, where he led the release of Microsoft Windows and Office product features. He holds an Honors B.Math in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo (Canada), and an MBA in Finance, Marketing and Technology from the Kellogg School of Management.

Bhai Kahn Singh Nabha, in Mahan Kosh, said "A Sikh, who gives Guru’s Dasvandh out of the money earned by honest means earns praise and glory in the world." Given how important the concept of Dasvandh is in Sikhi, I was worried that it was slipping away amongst us young Sikhs in North America. I wanted to find a way to make it incredibly easy to find projects that spoke to each person within the community.

Manpreet Singh
Treasurer

Manpreet Singh is a local entrepreneur and investor in South Florida. Previously, he was a Consultant with McKinsey & Company, where he focused on serving healthcare and hospital clients. He was also a Managing Partner / Co-Founder of Alpha Atlantic Capital, a real estate private equity firm. Manpreet graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in economics from the University of Pennsylvania & a B.S. (finance) from the Wharton School of Business. He also holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

We often hear "if the Sikh community had more money, it could accomplish so much" or "I want to give but don't know where to donate." I'm hoping that DVN will play a part in helping to alleviate some of these frustrations.

Mandeep Singh
Secretary

Mandeep Singh has an extensive background in retail management, with specific expertise in operational turnarounds. He has been instrumental to the progress of a number of non-profit initiatives, primarily in the space of Sikh youth education. He has led the coordination of various Sikh youth camps and retreats, as well as conferences, symposiums and sports tournaments over the past 14 years. He holds a degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Missouri.

Quite honestly, my involvement with DVN is selfish. After hearing of the DVN model, I realized my own shortcomings in practicing this aspect of my Rehit. My hope is by being involved, I will bring Dasvandh into my daily practice and realize the necessity in giving towards the Guru's work in all forms.
